Questions and Answers

Project costs vary significantly based on scope, complexity, and deliverables. As a general guide:

  • • Documentary interviews (single subject): $8,000 – $15,000
  • • Brand films (2–5 minutes): $15,000 – $50,000
  • • Brand identity design: $12,000 – $35,000
  • • Photography (half-day): $2,500 – $5,000
  • • Full creative campaigns: $50,000+

We provide detailed proposals after understanding your specific needs. Every quote includes a clear breakdown of what's included.

Timelines depend on project type and scope:

  • • Interview projects: 4–6 weeks (concept to delivery)
  • • Brand films: 6–12 weeks
  • • Brand identity: 8–12 weeks
  • • Photography: 2–3 weeks
  • • Full campaigns: 12–16+ weeks

We typically book production 4–8 weeks in advance. Rush timelines are sometimes possible for an additional fee.

Every project follows a similar arc:

  1. 1. Discovery call: We learn about your goals, story, and vision
  2. 2. Proposal: Detailed scope, timeline, and investment
  3. 3. Pre-production: Creative development, planning, scheduling
  4. 4. Production: Filming, photography, or design execution
  5. 5. Post-production: Editing, design refinement, revisions
  6. 6. Delivery: Final assets in all required formats

You'll have visibility throughout and opportunities for feedback at key milestones.

All projects include two rounds of revisions:

  • • First cut/draft for initial feedback
  • • Revised version incorporating your notes
  • • Final polish for any remaining tweaks

We invest heavily in pre-production to align on creative direction upfront, which typically means fewer surprises later. If additional revision rounds are needed, we'll discuss options before proceeding.

Yes, we travel wherever the story takes us. We're based in Memphis but regularly work on location across the United States and internationally.

Travel costs (flights, accommodation, ground transportation, per diems) are included in project proposals as a separate line item so you know exactly what to expect. For remote subjects, we can also coordinate local crews in major cities.

You do. Upon final payment, you receive full ownership and usage rights for all deliverables. This includes:

  • • Unlimited use across all platforms and channels
  • • No additional licensing fees
  • • Right to edit and adapt (for video/photo)
  • • Source files where applicable

We retain the right to use work in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed. Music and stock footage may have separate licensing terms, which we'll clarify in your proposal.

Music is handled one of three ways:

  • Licensed music: We source tracks from premium libraries with appropriate commercial licenses included in the project cost
  • Original composition: For larger projects, we can commission original scores from composers we work with
  • Your music: If you have existing licensed music, we can work with that

We'll recommend the best approach based on your project and budget. All music licensing is clearly outlined in proposals.

Yes. We provide raw footage and source files upon request. This typically includes:

  • • All raw camera files (video projects)
  • • Unedited interview transcripts
  • • Design source files (AI, PSD, Figma)
  • • High-res photography selects and outtakes

Raw files are delivered via hard drive or cloud transfer. There may be a nominal fee for raw footage delivery on very large shoots to cover storage and transfer costs.

We can, but we generally recommend in-person filming for the best results. In-person interviews allow for:

  • • Higher production value (lighting, audio, multiple cameras)
  • • More natural, relaxed conversations
  • • B-roll and environmental footage
  • • Better emotional connection

That said, remote interviews can work well for certain projects—particularly when subjects are in multiple locations or for supplementary content. We use high-quality remote recording setups when needed.

Our minimum project investment is typically $8,000. This ensures we can deliver work at the quality level we're known for.

For smaller budgets, we're happy to recommend other talented filmmakers and designers who might be a better fit. We'd rather point you in the right direction than take on a project we can't do justice.

We recommend reaching out 6–8 weeks before your ideal production date, though we can sometimes accommodate tighter timelines.

For larger campaigns or projects with fixed launch dates, earlier is better—3–4 months of lead time gives us room to develop concepts properly and schedule the right team.

If you have an urgent need, reach out anyway. We'll let you know what's possible.

Absolutely. We regularly collaborate with:

  • • In-house marketing and creative teams
  • • PR and communications agencies
  • • Advertising agencies (as production partners)
  • • Other creative studios on larger campaigns

We're flexible about our role—we can lead creative or execute someone else's vision. Clear communication and defined responsibilities make collaborations successful.
